Configuration

Click on the menu button at the right side of the bar to bring up the configuration dialog. Each module has it's own options, which I think are pretty straightforward. See the modules page for more information on specific modules.

From the configuration dialog, you can open the About dialog, showing your current WinBar version, and reset the main window, in case the WinBar application desktop toolbar was mispositioned.

WinBar does not use any registry keys. Instead, it keeps all configuration settings in a single file, WinBar.cfg. Deleting this file will reset WinBar to it's default configuration. When starting, WinBar will search for the configuration file and load it. All configuration changes will be saved to this file.

The General tab of the configuration dialog lets you specify options for the main window.
You can customize WinBar's appearance by altering it's colors. You can place WinBar either at the top or at the bottom of your desktop, and on any monitor you like, if you have more than one. The panel style specifies how the modules are rendered on the main window. Any changes you make to the configuration are applied instantly.

Profiles

In the General tab of the configuration window, you can manage your WinBar profiles. A profile saves which modules are visible, and lets you switch quickly between several information schemes.
Note: a profile only stores which modules are visible, not any module or general settings!

Custom Module Icons

WinBar displays an icon in front of almost each module. To change these icons, you can create a set of GIF files in WinBar's folder. When you start WinBar, it will try to load the files displayed in the following table. Icons will be resized to 16x16 pixels if they aren't already.
