WinBar 1.2.95 (beta)
  • Improved AppBar code:
    - Fixed an AppBar bug which would crash WinBar when docked to the bottom and adjusting taskbar.
    - Bar now resizes properly on resolution change.
    - Bar is not hidden anymore when Show Desktop is used.
  • Improved Tracker module:
    - Added a Trackers submenu for fast tracker switching.
    - Implemented HTTP/1.1 support, improving compatibility with modern webservers.

    WinBar 1.2.93 (beta)
  • WinBar now uses the file Username.cfg (where Username is the name of the logged-in user) rather than WinBar.cfg, allowing per-user settings. If the file cannot be found for a user, it defaults back to WinBar.cfg.
  • The tracker XML file may now contain attributes within the item tag.
  • Fixed tooltip positions when WinBar is docked at the bottom of the screen.
  • Fixed a bug which would cause the settings not to be saved when Windows is shut down with WinBar running.
  • Fixed a bug which would cause WinBar to interfere with fullscreen applications.

  • Added network drive support for Disk Usage module.

  • Added a transparency option (Win2K/XP only).

  • Improved DU module:
    - Fixed another crash condition. Thanks to Meuk. The DU module now counts to 1 PB (petabyte).

    - In the main window, press Alt-X to exit WinBar immediately, Alt-C to open the configuration dialog or Alt-A to show the about dialog.

    - Added HTTP proxy support. You can specify a proxy port (www.server.com:port).
    - Link color is now configurable.
    - Icon now shows a small blue dot when working, or a small red dot if an error occurred.

  • CPU Usage finally works under Win9x! :) However, the WinME monitor may report erroneous values to WinBar. Please note that this is not caused by WinBar; it is a bug in WinME.

  • Added option to show only username.
  • Added option to set memory size bias. Memory size can be increased by a value from 0 to 9.
  • Winamp receives focus or starts when you click the icon.

  • Option to start WinBar 'minimized'. You can use the following command-line arguments:
    -left Starts WinBar minimized at the left side of the screen.
